HATHA YOGA

Hatha Yoga is one of the most practiced styles in the Western countries and it combines asanas with breathing exercises. The meaning of "Hatha" in Sanskrit is "effort" or "force". It was originated during the XV-XVI centuries by the yogi known as Suatmarama.

This style of yoga is slower. It holds the asanas (postures) for longer so it works on the alignments. This style of yoga is suitable for everyone and all levels. It is a good yoga style for starting practicing and learn about yoga, as it helps to understand the movement of the body and the benefits of the practice of the postures.

Hatha lessons in Hampi last 1.5 hours and include a warm-up, asanas, pranayama and meditation at the end. After the yoga session you feel very good and relaxed.

  • Lessons suitable for everyone.

  • Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.

  • Arrive 5 minutes before the starting time.

  • You can bring your own mat if you want, but it is not needed.

  • Don't eat in a period of 2 hours before the lesson.
